A major logistics project is taking shape on Türkiye’s Black Sea coast
Türkiye is continuing to expand its logistics infrastructure, with the Rize İyidere Logistics Port in northeastern Türkiye now reported to be around 82% physically complete.
The project is being developed as a major logistics hub on the Black Sea and is targeted for opening in 2026. Once operational, the port is designed to handle approximately 13 million tonnes of cargo annually and strengthen connections between Türkiye, the Caucasus and Middle Eastern markets.
